Caydon Appoints L.U. Simon Builders For Mason Sq Development

Caydon Property Group has awarded two-time Master Builder of the Year winner L.U. Simon Builders the contract to build Caydon’s exciting new Mason Sq residential apartment development in the inner Melbourne suburb of Moonee Ponds.

The decision follows a competitive bidding process that attracted interest from a number of highly reputable tier one builders, and comes after last month’s granting of an amended permit for the project on the corner of Hall and Margaret Streets, Moonee Ponds.

“L.U. Simon demonstrated the best capacity to deliver the project to the high quality standards expected of any Caydon development, and within a timeline that would enable buyers to get into their new apartment on schedule,” said Caydon Chief Operating Officer Jarrod Stratton.

“Caydon has a long history of working closely with architects and builders throughout the design and construction phase, which is important for us to deliver buyers the very high quality and standards we promise, and that are a signature of every Caydon development.

L.U. Simon is close to completing the $200 million Brunswick East Ettaro development for Caydon.

Caydon has had exceptional interest in Mason Sq with almost 300 dwellings sold. Interested buyers can still purchase off-the-plan. Stage one estimated completion scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.
